Happy New Year
Happy New Year! The holidays are always a great time of year to reflect on the year and spend time with family. As I reflect back on 2014, P&L Technology had many highlights. The one that stands out most to me is our engagement with clients during the first ever P&L users conference. The goal of this event was to provide continued education and receive client input to shape the future direction of P&L Technology.
The breakout\educational sessions were a huge success. We even threw in a non- technical session focusing on personality profiling, and that was a hit! The feedback we received overall was very positive with an overwhelming desire to see more hands-on sessions for future conferences.
The afternoon executive roundtable was very well attended. With many Type A personalities in the room, it didn’t lack for spirited conversation. We received a lot of valuable input during this session. The overall messages were that our clients want to help us grow and provide expanded services to enhance their businesses. The thirst for tech knowledge was and is apparent.
As a result of the round table, we have already implemented onboarding videos to assist new and existing employees on security and support processes. A meet your team “click” function has also been added.
Our biggest change due to client feedback at the event was our hiring of Jeff Newton as account manager. He is already starting to meet with a hand-full of clients to further shape and define his role within each organization. P&L wants to put our customers in a position to maximize technical needs as it pertains to their business goals.
Jeff joined us in December and hit the ground running. He previously worked for us and already may know a number of you, making for a smooth transition.
The conference was such a success we have already booked next year’s date and have people registered to attend. This year’s conference will even be bigger!
Join us on November 10, 2015 at the Embassy Suites La Vista Conference Center. We will be mapping out program specifics in the coming months, but you can already reserve your spot at our Early-Bird Rate of only $49 for a full-day registration. You can sign up here.
Looking forward to a great 2015!
